Today I played a lot from the 1960s and 70s including the mysterious Jim Sullivan from his U.F.O. album recently re-issued on Light in the Attic. Also some 70s German rock from Amon Duul II, and Chrystal Chandelier’s 1969 single Suicidal Flowers. SK Kakraba is represented here, the Ghanaian xylophone player – he uses a wooden xylophone with spiderweb silk across the holes to make a buzzing sound with it – pretty great treat.
I switch it up at the end with pop-electro song “Can’t Do Without You” by Caribou.
Enjoy. Stay noisy.

Monday was a sad day when we learned David Bowie passed late Sunday night.
In honor of the inspirational legend in music I wanted to play a song from one of my favorite Bowie albums, Low. I then played a few covers that I like. Bowie will be greatly missed. RIP.
